I opened the healthfood store Only Natural in late 1985 and have seen the Irish health food industry, and indeed Irish society, go through huge development in that time. Today in 2016, more than thirty years later, I head a close knit and enthusiastic team.

My vision for Only Natural is for it to remain a centre of excellence, excellence in the huge range of fine products that we stock, excellence in the level of expertise and service that we offer each and every one of our customers and excellence in our commitment to make the shop a centre for education and information for anyone interested in natural health.

I am a Nutritional Therapist, DipNut BTEC, FETAC, IINH. I became interested in nutrition after over coming my own digestive problems through food and supplementation. After deciding on a career change I started studying Nutritional Therapy in 2009 with the Irish Institute of Nutrition and Health and graduated with Distinctions in 2013 and started working in Only Natural at around the same time. I am also a qualified Nutrition and Health Coach and have completed a Foresight ( fertility ) Training Practitioner course. I will be setting up my private nutrition clinic shortly.

Chloe

I’ve just recently qualified as a nutritional therapist, DipNT, mIANT, and am delighted to have started to work in Only Natural. I previously worked in Nutri health food store in Dublin. I’ve had my own health issues and I believe reducing processed foods consumption in favour of whole foods played a major part in improving my health. Supplements such as probiotics, omega 3, super greens and rhodiola are big favourites of mine. I also like using essential oils and natural beauty products (shop-bought and home-made), I am a huge fan of coconut oil (both in cooking and as a skincare product) and love baking healthy treats. Nutritional therapists do not cure diseases but help people to improve their health by trying to find the cause(s) of their ailment(s) and advising personalised dietary changes. We also believe in the importance of prevention to optimise our health. I’m looking forward to meeting you in Only Natural and hopefully guide you toward a better health.

I have over ten years experience working in health shops and started back in Only Natural towards the end of 2015, I previously worked with Ger and the team in his shop on Main Street back in 2005 so it’s a pleasure to be back in Wexford Town. My passions include herbs (I harbour an ambition to be a herbalist one day soon!), homoeopathy and essential oils all of which I use in my everyday life to keep myself and family (that’s two young boys and one grown up man!) healthy. Children and parenting are of particular interest to me so if you have young kids or any parenting issues just call instore for a chat, I’d be happy to see you!

Before working in Only Natural I worked for a wholefood company for nine years. I have completed ( and passed ) the IAHS protocol for selling certificate and the IAHS certificate in health food retailing. I am currently studying the Higher Nature certificate in Vitamins. I think everyone should take responsibility for their life ( and in many ways their health ). A sensible lifestyle doesn’t guarantee you’ll live to be a hundred but it can help you towards a better quality of life. Drop in to Only Natural and hopefully I can help you to make the right choices.

I’m a Horticulturist (BSC) and Complementary Therapist (ITEC / CIBTAC) and I run an allergen-free bakery, Rake of Cakes, from The Bullring Market Wexford. I first became interested in natural healthcare at a young age, when my Saturdays were spent rummaging through the treasure trove that is Only Natural. Feeling inspired, I went on to gain a Diploma in complementary therapy and became fascinated with the human body and how important it is to nourish and treat it well.

As a lover of nature and the outdoors, I then decided to study for a degree in Horticulture. This led me to start writing a blog about gardening and baking. Being diagnosed as coeliac in 2013, however, meant I had to totally reinvent my old recipes and it wasn’t long before this snowballed into a business. Rake of Cakes has since developed into an allergen-free home bakery, focusing on old-time treats as well as sports-focused, nutrient rich treats.

I have a strong interest in using wholesome, nutritious food to create delicious foods that the body will love. I’m looking forward to meeting you in store to chat about allergen-free baking and how to cook up a healthy storm!
