Oh no, not MORE detox advice!

Yes I’m afraid so, but this time let’s assume you’re eating well, drinking lots of water and that there’s no shortage of spring in your step. Let’s look at one of your most precious resources, the place that’s yours, your space, your home. Places can be toxic on many levels and whether you’re smudging to cleanse the spirit of the place, decluttering (I never feel better than when I’ve taken the bull by the horns and just gotten rid of lots of stuff that I just don’t need) or just having a good spring (or any time of year!) clean, it’s hard to beat the feeling of security and peace that the word ‘Home’ stands for.
Let’s look at the last of these, keeping your home clean. Using conventional, synthetic based home and laundry cleaners may be an option but I don’t think it’s the healthy one. Fortunately green cleaning products have never been more available or affordable and, believe me, when you try them you won’t turn back.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”4853″ img_size=”medium” style=”vc_box_border_circle” border_color=”green”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]We love the Lilly’s Eco Clean range which is made by an Irish, family run business in County Dublin. Unlike Uncle Ben and Dr. Pepper there really is a Lilly and this is her story.

About twelve years ago Lilly started a contract cleaning business but six months later started to feel the disastrous effects of working with highly potent chemicals on a daily basis. First came “an itchy, ugly skin rash” after which she developed severe sinusitis. “The headaches had escalated to a point that no pain medication was of any use.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Lilly stepped back, did some research and started making her own range of cleaning products from more natural ingredients in her own kitchen. Twelve years on after lots of tweaking later the range is still a great choice for anyone looking for a gentle yet effective natural cleaning range. The Company prides itself on three points:

Health: a clean home minus the fumes. Contains no bleach, ammonia, phosphates, petrochemicals or animal based chemicals. Contains traditional and old fashioned cleaning ingredients like vinegar, salts, soap and citric acid. Contains only natural essential oils for light fragrance, no artificial perfumes (I think my home smells divine after I’ve used all purpose citrus cleaning spray!).

Home: real cleaning without harsh chemicals. Same or better cleaning results as mainstream cleaning products, no fumes typical of regular cleaning products, multi use, one product for various tasks, naturally antibacterial.

Planet: make a difference right here, right now! Plant and mineral based biodegradable ingredients, conscious sourcing of renewable raw materials, vegan and vegetarian friendly, no animal ingredients or testing, refill pouches for home refilling, great way to reduce bottle consumption, bottles are 50% post consumer recycled plastic and can be recycled again.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]So now that your colon is vibrant with inner health how about tackling the house ? Go on get rid of those pullovers you didn’t really like when you did wear them and that pile of old copies of ‘Angler’s Monthly’ you’re still convinced you’re about to get round to reading and maybe give the place a bit of a sparkle but perhaps not with anything toxic. Try Lilly’s and breath deep, you’ll enjoy the sensation.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”4857″ img_size=”medium” style=”vc_box_border_circle” border_color=”green”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
