[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Tina Wilkins wants to share with us some simple things that anyone can do to introduce some positive energy and healing into our daily lives. In today’s society I think we could all do with a bit of extra positivity and these tips added to over time won’t take much time out of your day but may make you feel that little bit more positive about life![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_text_separator title=”December” color=”green” style=”dashed” el_width=”70″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

As the nights draw in and it gets colder, natures answer is to withdraw, to pull back from life and slumber until the spring dawns. This made me think about how unnatural our rhythm has become, how apart from nature. For whilst the natural state is to rest, majority of ‘us’ will be caught up in the Christmas rush or trying to cram as much into the daylight hours as we can.

This time of year with the extra pressure of getting things done so one can relax and enjoy the Christmas break its so important to take a moment to just stop. Allow yourself to rebalance, re-centre re-align. A recent study showed that stress and anger actually deplete our immune system, so it’s not surprising so many become ill this time of year.
I can testify to this as my mad dash started early as I returned to the UK to meet family ahead of the festive season. On my return journey, I was driving and had allowed plenty of time for the trip to the ferry terminal.  What I hadn’t allowed for was at least 8 sets of roadworks and a hold up caused just by sheer volume of traffic!

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_empty_space height=”16px”][vc_single_image image=”12591″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_outline” border_color=”green”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Needless to say I was very stressed and annoyed with myself and anyone who got in my way! I made the ferry and 3 days later developed a cold and cough, normally I manage to fend off all the bugs going about, so I put this down to the battering my immune system took on that journey.  What made matters worse is I normally have some relaxing oils and some Rescue Remedy in the car but I’d cleared the car out when I recently had it valeted and hadn’t put them back.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

So my tips for this month are if you can’t avoid the stress then assist yourself by using some flower remedies (there’s the Australian Bush Flower calming one or Rescue Remedy available in the shop) to help boost your immune system either use a diffuser or oil burner (I spotted some great ones in the shop and they make a great gift too!) Add some of your favourite aromas to create a bug free zone. All essential oils have anti bacterial and anti virus properties making them a great way to fend off airborne bugs. Using pine is one of my favourite with cinnamon at this time of year as adds that festive feel or grapefruit and lavender which keeps your mind focused and yet helps relax you. One of my favourite ways to use essential oils is to take a wad of tissues and add a few drops of 3 different essential oils (I usually dowse to see which will be the most  effective for me at that time) then I fold the tissues over so the one with the oil drops on is central. I place them in a plastic bag to seal in the aroma for at least 10 minutes. Then I carry them with me to use or to act as a barrier against people coughing etc. I use them as normal tissues, and when I get close to the centre I replenish. Its a lovely way to support your immune system and spread some lovely fragrances. Because the oils are pure they are easily absorbed into our system and very effective. There’s a great range in the shop and because you only need a few drops they last a long time.
So wishing you all a calm and peaceful festive season and hope to see you in the new year.
Tina

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_text_separator title=”November” color=”green” style=”dashed” el_width=”70″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Wow! What a year it just seems to have flown by and although we’ve had a beautiful October there’s definitely a nip in the air as we go into November.  When the sun is shining and the sky is blue and I’m warmly ensconced in my car, its lovely to see the shimmer on the sea as l drive into Wexford on the newline. Then add in the riot of reds, russets, oranges and yellows from the trees along the route, as well as on the way to New Ross. Its a perfect way to balance those lower chakras. So when I arrive into town l feel relaxed and grounded, which makes it easier to find parking and do the chores I need to do.
On reflection this is because the colours have provided any balance needed in my lower energy centres and made sure I’m grounded. This means I’m calmer and in the ‘flow’, which helps to negotiate busy spaces like towns and shops!

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

Of course if you’ve been unable to observe and breathe in the energies from the colour of the trees (or have encountered a stressful situation on arriving in town) just 5 minutes in Only Natural can assist you in regaining your equilibrium. Visit the crystal corner and see which crystal ‘jumps’ out at you, or treat yourself to a flower remedy to bring calm once more.
With the nights drawing in quickly now and there being less daylight, its an ideal opportunity to nurture yourself and stay warm and cosy. We naturally want to settle in and wind down.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_empty_space height=”16px”][vc_single_image image=”12494″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_outline” border_color=”green”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

On my last visit I noticed some great meditation music and some books that offer inspiration to keep your mood ‘up’, if you’re prone to miss the natural daylight and sun.
Lighting an incense stick adds to the relaxing ambience (my favourites at the moment are the rose for promoting harmony and the white sage for clearing negativity) Or buy yourself an early Christmas present of a salt lamp. The warm orange glow works well to balance the 3rd eye as well as the sacral chakra and of course they’re great at absorbing those harmful rays emitted by the TV and electrical equipment. They are also good at purifying the air to assist in restful sleep and to aid with breathing difficulties.
This month will no doubt fly by too, so be kind to yourself as next month we’ll see heightened energy as the majority get into Christmas mode.
Stay safe and warm

You may have missed my weekly presence in the shop offering readings and reiki, sometimes life just doesn’t go to plan  (well the one we’ve mapped out in our heads anyway!). The last couple of months have been chaotic to say the least. So working on the principle that our inner world reflects our outer world, for we’re all part of the big plan. I realised that as challenging as the weeks have been I can see that reflected in the world around me. The weather has been beautiful and sunny one day then cold and wintery the next.  This has highlighted for me the need to do some inner work and find the balance within myself.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

As I have had 4 extra house guests (beautiful, funny yet uncontrollable puppies!) quiet moments are rare, so I’ve learnt to flow with it. The result being, it’s brought home the fact the only thing/person I have control over is me! This has been highlighted by trying to get workmen to do jobs; all communication has been hard work!

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”12384″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_outline” border_color=”green”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]

So I stopped…. I went back into the moment, in fact I lit some incense (I love the range in the shop) I put on some soothing music and I took a moment. That’s all it took to get back into sync. A moment to focus on being totally present. The puppies were still doing what puppies do, yet those few moments of focusing on stillness stopped my mind trying micro manage my life and everything around me.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

There’s lots of ways to bring yourself into alignment; most of them begin with just a moment of stillness. Using sound (I love the Tibetan bowls and symbols – there are some beautiful ones in the shop) is a great way. By stopping and listening, we focus the mind and allow the body/emotions to realign, linking us with our inner peace once more.
To create that space I used the aroma of incense and meditation music, using essential oils works just as well. The aroma allows us to focus on using just one of our senses, as does using sound. The act of turning our attention to creating a still moment allows us to come back into balance. From this place we make better decisions, it allows us to regain our inner harmony which then is reflected in our outer world. Namaste.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_text_separator title=”August” color=”green” style=”dashed” el_width=”70″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]July was an amazing month with the sun continuing to shine! It’s lovely to feel the warmth of the sun on my face and of course the natural source of Vitamin D is so good for all of us. Obviously the glorious weather has disadvantages: the lack of rain has parched the land and so much of the beautiful foilage and colour has gone. It also can be uncomfortable to work in unless you’re fortunate to be in a shaded cooler space. Keeping hydrated is paramount to assisting our equilibrium so we remain in optimum health. There’s some lovely bottled water infused with CBD oil which I treat myself to on my visits to the shop, it tastes so fresh. The weather has been unusual for our ‘norm’. This got me thinking how much we adapt to regular patterns in life and how when life doesn’t go to plan our whole system can be thrown off balance. That’s when I’m reminded that nature has an awareness that just flows with what ‘is’.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]With a lot of major planetary movement recently the general unrest can be felt if you’re senstive. So if youre feeling the effects of the heat, or the planet, try adding a blue lace crystal to your water. The energy is naturally peaceful and helps us speak truthfully and calmly, particularly helpful if you’re feeling under pressure. Even carrying any of blue crystals can make you feel clearer and cooler headed. There’s also Australian Bush Flower remedies for calmness and clarity.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”12166″ img_size=”full” style=”vc_box_outline” border_color=”green”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]I’m a firm believer that the answers that we seek are within us, which we can also see projected back to us from nature so spend a few moments when topping up on your Vitamin D, communing with nature and the message she shares. So whether August promises more sunshine or rain we can learn to ride the storm by taking care of ourselves and trying to maintain the balance, as everything that it’s happening outside of ourselves is a reflection of our inner world. When we become more conscious of this we can start to create better health and wellbeing for ourselves. Which just gave me the realisation that my issues around my left leg can be changed, having recognised the link between my belief and the reality I’m actually creating. I’ll save that thought and share for September![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_text_separator title=”July” color=”green” style=”dashed” el_width=”70″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

I’m writing this as we approach the end of June, and what a beautiful month it’s been. I firmly believe the majority of us feel so much better when the sun is shining and we can get out and about in the lighter warmer days.

As July arrives the days will start to get shorter so it’s wonderful to make the most of getting out in nature and the simple message it so readily shares if we’re still enough to listen.  Driving into the store to share my knowledge has been like a moving meditation as the views on the clear days provide such beautiful scenery and the hedgerows a plethora of colour. It provides a great way to balance my energy as the colours assist me in harmonising my chakras. Each chakra relates to a different colour and is linked physically with our major organs, as well as our feelings and thoughts. And of course our spiritual connection which assists us into wellness at every opportunity.

So my tips for this month is take time too appreciate the beauty all around you. Drink in the colours! Start each day by giving thanks even if you can only say thank you for a new day or the overnight rest or the roof over your head. This is a great way to invite positive energy into your day, which encourages more of the same. As you practise this daily you’ll start to notice your days improving and you’ll have more to give thanks for, which just may start the routine of giving thanks for the day as you prepare for sleep too. This can help you wake up in a better place! Sometimes we do have difficult days and it’s great too unburden yourself before you sleep ensuring you clear the energy around you (which is what being thankful does). You release any difficulties and ensure a clear new day. You could start a journal, asking for help from your angels. (There are some beautiful ones in the shop). Always finish the entry with thanks for something positive in your life.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]

Another idea is to hold or sleep with a crystal of your choice, asking it to absorb your worries and clearing your mind for a fresh start. Amethyst is a great one for promoting restful sleep and clearing a busy mind so you awake refreshed.  I also spotted some lovely small quartz clusters in the shop. These are great for clearing energy allowing for positivity to flourish in families and groups as they allow us to be in harmony with those around us. By promoting harmony and showing how we all grow at different rates and in different directions. It helps us be at peace and appreciate everyones uniqueness. I also spotted some lovely little worry dolls in the gift corner.

As much as I love the brighter warmer days I’m aware that we need the rain. I can appreciate the cleansing nurturing aspect of that too. On those days I’d recommend a visit to the shop where you are bound to find something to assist you into well-being. All you need is to be open to be inspired!

Bright blessings

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_text_separator title=”June” color=”green” style=”dashed” el_width=”70″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

As I write this the last few days have been gloriously sunny, so at long last summer has arrived! I love the month of June when the days are at their longest and mother nature gives us a wonderful colourful display.  Nature can guide us and provide us with answers if we just take the time to listen. Colour is so important to us energetically, a perfect recipe provided by nature to assist us into balance. Its lovely to see the bluebells alongside the gorse, perfect for balancing our ego mind with our upper mind. So now being halfway through the year its a great time to assess your level of happiness in relation to being on track with your intentions. With all the extra light our energy levels and moods are enhanced as well as the colour provided by nature, making equilibrium easier to maintain. Add in the scents of flowers which can invoke memories and bring the angelic kingdom closer. (There’s a great selection of essential oils in store, great for awakening the senses, you can add a couple of drops to a tissue or cotton wool ball and carry on you upper body to breathe in the fragrance all day, or add to your bath, or to a carrier oil and use as a perfume or for massage). Because the oils are pure they enhance our wellbeing.  Rose oil is lovely for bringing angels closer and lavender aids restful sleep.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]On my visits to the store I love all the colourful mobiles and windchimes providing an important message to keep our energy flowing; which is what having one of these in your envrionment does. They are great to brighten a corner and stop the energy becoming stale, or in a long passageway leading from front to back of the house where the energy tends to rush through, adding a mobile disperses the energy so it can be utilised throughout the home. The chimes also work vibrationally to align our energy (the new singing bowls in store are lush and all have a different tone). Our homes and places where we spend a lot if time are so important to our wellbeing, so if you are unable to enjoy nature outside bring some indoors with some colour and beautiful scents or even the herbs in store, which are great too, as you bring the living energy in doors and they’re edible too! I’m on the shop floor on Fridays til the middle of June demonstrating lots of different ways to ‘feed’ your soul. Feel free to stop by and say hello.

Tina x[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_empty_space height=”16px”][vc_single_image image=”11947″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_outline” border_color=”green”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_text_separator title=”May” color=”green” style=”dashed” el_width=”70″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

As we go into May it seems nature is finally waking up.  On my drive in to Wexford and New Ross the hedgerows are full of all shades of yellows; gorse, daffodils, and primroses. This reminded me that flowers are a gift of nature sent to assist us on all levels. On my browse around the shop I found a wonderful selection of flower remedies which are great for assisting with emotional and mental wellbeing. If your feeling out if balance, low on energy, having mood swings or repetitive negative thoughts then a couple of drops of a certain remedy can work wonders. It can be placed under the tongue or in a little water if you prefer. Of course you can always use a pendulum to see if a flower remedy is right for you. I’ll be showcasing dowsing in Only Natural on 18th May from 12pm so I’m happy to assist you if you’d like to try this method.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”11789″ img_size=”medium” style=”vc_box_outline” border_color=”green”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]

You can also use crystals in this way by preparing an elixir. One of my favourites is rose quartz, place a polished piece in spring or filtered water and sip throughout the day. To increase its potency leave it in the full moonlight overnight or use some clear points, place the points towards the elixir, leave to charge for at least 3 hours. Rose quartz promotes self love and is great for skin complaints; Blue lace agate relieves sore throats and clear quartz gives energy. It is always best to use polished pieces as all varieties of polished quartz are safe and natural agates. Certain minerals especially rough specimens can be contaminated with poisonous minerals so it is always best to check. I’ll be in the shop on Saturday 12th May from 1pm showcasing crystals and I’m happy to assist you if you’d like to try an elixir or know more about how you can use crystals.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

So back to the wonderful canvas provided by nature, if a particular colour or variety of plant stands out to you it can be a sign from the universe (which is always trying to assist us in to wellbeing.) Just by connecting with the energy as in setting the intention to connect with the energy. On the in-breath focus on the plant and breathe out as normal. This aligns us with the properties nature is offering. Its worth noting all colours are important to us and the yellow which is everywhere at present is uplifting and coupled with the sun works well to raise our mood, which is lovely after such a long winter.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_empty_space height=”16px”][vc_column_text]

The gorse really caught my attention and I was wondering what message it was bringing. I know the flower remedy is good to encourage hope and its good if someone has been struggling with ill health or despair, as it promotes ‘joie de vie’ and assists us to a happy positive place.  So if this resonates with you, then treat yourself to some gorse flower essence. I was drawn to a pack of cards that have postive affirmations (these are lovely for giving oneself a boost or some daily inspiration, and there’s some lovely ones in the shop). So I randomly chose myself a card (see opposite) I just love how the universe provides. If you’d like to know more then stop by and say hello when I’m in the shop.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”11788″ img_size=”medium” style=”vc_box_outline” border_color=”green”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_text_separator title=”April” color=”green” style=”dashed” el_width=”70″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

So as we enter April we are now officially in the time of spring and of course Easter is being celebrated in the first week. Although many religions host spiritual festivals the roots of Easter are said to go back to Saxon times when the goddess of fertility was honoured. Spring is a great time to set up rituals and intentions and do some space clearing (see previous tips), this month oranges figure deeply in many cultures and the colour orange is a very creative colour as well as emotionally stabilising.
So if you want to get your ‘spring mojo’ going here’s some tips you could try.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]

Oranges are well known for their vitamin C content, and orange crystals are good for increasing energy levels.  Use Carnelian to help balance sugar levels, soothe emotions, stimulate your mind and it is also considered the family love stone assisting ‘one’ to embrace the differences in family members. Just carrying one can assist on all these levels. If crystals aren’t your ‘thing’ then try using Orange Essential oil. Just a few drops on a piece of cotton wool or a tissue acts as a pick me up tonic, lifting our mood and of course getting the creative juices flowing. It can also stimulate appetites so good for those who succumbed to the bugs that have been around most of the winter.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_empty_space height=”16px”][vc_single_image image=”11706″ alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_outline” border_color=”green”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Burning the oil in a diffuser in a place where you require motivation or improved appetite helps too. It’s also great for those with digestive issues as a few drops added to a carrier oil and gently massaged around the stomach in a clockwise motion stimulates the digestion. And of course it smells divine too! If oils aren’t for you then try this…
The egg shape is representative of the energy field around our bodies, energy that is often unseen yet can be felt. If you’re sensitive you may pick up others joy or negativity when standing in a queue or entering a room. This is before you have spoken to the person, or had any physicial contact, so this exercise is a great exercise to strengthen your aura, your energy field, which can become depleted through illness and the shorter winter days. If you have about 5 mins to spare sit or lay comfortably, now imagine you’re the golden yolk inside an egg shell and there are seven layers from your physical body to the outer protective  shell. Now imagine as you breathe in the breath travels up the front of your body about an inch from your skin, as it gets to the top of the head it travels down the back and under you feet. Then do the same again this time as you breathe in imagine the breath travelling up the right side of your body. As it reaches the top of the head breathe out and it travels down the left side and back under your feet. Do this another six times repeating the routine, imagining the breath moving out 3 inches each time. This is a great way to strengthen your aura and your immune system. You could hold a piece of clear quartz  too, this will boost the energy and help to remove any negative energy.
I’ll be in the shop offering Reiki and readings, to honour the goddess of birth and rebirth I’ll be using some goddess cards and some crystals eggs. I’m also happy to talk auras if you want to know more.
Bright blessings
Tina

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_text_separator title=”March” color=”green” style=”dashed” el_width=”70″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

March is traditionally the beginning of Spring! So the energy is fresh and new as nature wakes up fully. This is a great time to create a sacred place in your home where you can leave your positive intentions and any worries to be cleaned and transformed.

All you need is a space to put a few items that represent the four elements. A candle to represent fire, some flowers in water (for water and earth) – or even floating candles, spotted some great ones in the shop last week… Some incense or a feather to represent air, and shells, crystals or stones to represent earth. The fifth element is spirit and the intention you set by creating this space.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]

Just 5 minutes a day in front of your chosen spot can create a peaceful attitude and promote a more positive outlook. Of course you can add to this simple layout by adding special items or even an angel or Buddha. Its also a great place to keep your angel cards and choose one each day, so the energy graces your day. And of course different coloured candles and crystals add different properties to the space and intention, so you can build your practise to suit your life.

I’m happy to tell you more if you want to pay me a visit instore.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”11607″ alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_outline” border_color=”green”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_text_separator title=”February” color=”green” style=”dashed” el_width=”70″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Even though February is a short month it can be as challenging as January as the cold weather continues.

If you’re prone to cold hands keeping a piece of hematite in your pocket helps to keep the blood flowing to your fingers. Even better are pairs of magnetic hematite crystals – these are great for increasing circulation by placing one in each pocket (they’re also great for stopping the ache in arthritic fingers used along side a piece of malachite for topical use).

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]

Now being February you may prefer a piece of garnet as this also is known to increase heat as well as bringing passion into ones life! As Valentines day falls this month placing a piece of rose quartz level with your heart under or by your bed is said to attract your soul mate to you. In my peruse around the shop I noticed a beautiful set of cards The love deck just right this month for setting the intention of more love in your life, the 14th sees the almost full moon so a good time to bring something to fruition.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”11447″ alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_outline” border_color=”green”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_text_separator title=”January” color=”green” style=”dashed” el_width=”70″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

When the Christmas tree and decorations come down it’s a great time to also energetically clear the space.
You can smudge using a fragrant sage stick . Light the smudge stick and once it’s smoking you can walk around your living space making sure you go into the corners setting the intention to clear any stale old energy replacing it with new positive energy.
If you don’t feel comfortable with a smudge stick you can do the same with your favourite incense stick although take care it doesn’t drop onto surfaces as it can burn.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]You can also use clear quartz points place 1 quartz point in each corner of the room , with the points outwards . Again set the intention and then you may like to dust and hoover. Once you’ve done that turn the points to face inwards asking for the space to be filled with positive loving energy. Leave for at least 5 minutes. Often you will feel the air feels cooler and clearer.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”11285″ style=”vc_box_outline” border_color=”green”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
