Ger's Monthly Update Only Natural

A New Face in Only Natural

If you’ve been in the shop in the last few weeks you may have met Emma, our new team member. If not we know you’re going to take a shine to her. Emma’s currently studying to become a Nutrition and Health Coach with the Irish Institute of Nutrition and Health and, when she’s completed the year, will add to the already five in number Only Natural staff members with nutritional qualifications. This fact makes me very proud indeed of our high standards of knowledge and our enthusiasm to constantly keep working on them.

Emma started out studying Law but found herself suffering from seriously debilitating, gastroenteritis like symptoms during that time which eventually lead to a diagnosis of coeliac disease. To her relief cutting out gluten brought immediate relief. But, as she still found herself suffering from some nagging digestive issues,  Emma’s research led her on to giving up dairy and meat and, now Vegan since 2017 and feeling wonderful for it, she’s discovered at first hand, just how impactful the right diet can be on how we feel.
In the process a passion for Nutritional Science was born and, luckily for us, this has led Emma to Only Natural. Her chief areas of interest include digestion, prevention and reversal of type 2 diabetes and how nutrition impacts on mental health, anxiety, depression and fertility.
We’re thrilled to have Emma as part of the Only Natural team and totally confident that you’ll like her too.
