Thought Field Therapy or Tapping Therapist

Also used is Thought Field Therapy, also known as ‘Tapping’. This is a simple, non invasive therapy which can be taught to be self administered and who’s function is to restore the energy flow through the body’s meridians which in turn has a positive effect on emotional wellbeing. A trained TFT practitioner is able to quickly diagnose which of the energy meridians are out of balance. Once diagnosed, the treatment involves having the client tap on certain locations on their body in a specific order, while focusing on the psychological problem. Mentally tuning into the problem is vital during both diagnosis and treatment.

However from speaking to her it’s obvious that it’s all about gently leading her clients, be they child or adult, to a place where they can overcome the psychological and emotional hinderances that block the way to happiness and self fulfillment. “Stress” says Anne Marie can “literally turn you off” and the practices she encourages her clients to adopt are designed to “make happiness second nature”. “Five minutes of doing a simple breathing exercise” she says “can positively allow well being to soak into our day” and “as well as simply feeling better this helps us to think more clearly and make better decisions”.
