Pilates is a system which works the body from the inside out, the deep muscles stabilise the body which is important for balance and posture. Pilates is mindful movement, it’s precise movement and will train or re-train your body to move correctly which is a bonus when playing any sport. The Pilates system can be practiced at any age and is a full body workout coordinated with the breath.

I’ve been teaching Reformer Pilates for the past 5 years. The Reformer machine has a sliding platform attached with springs that add resistance to the specific exercises practiced on it. The resistance is varied to suit individual requirements.
