Terrawash
I’ve just hung my clothes out to dry and I’m feeling particularly smug about it. I used no chemicals and minimal packaging and it cost me a pittance! I used a product called Terrawash which is nothing more than a bag of magnesium nuggets which you pop into the washing machine. I think it’s wonderful, minimum environmental impact and you save lots of money, yes please! But don’t take my word for it, Ruth, our own green activist, tested it on a rather tougher wash than mine. Read on :[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]When Ger started telling me about the Terra Wash, I was immediately skeptical of its cleaning power and challenged him to let me try it on Ciarán’s work clothes. Ciarán is the head gardener at Kilmokea House and he runs the garden completely organically. As a result, it’s not unusual for him to arrive home covered in horse manure as he uses this to nourish the garden instead of bottles of fertiliser.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”10685″ img_size=”medium” style=”vc_box_outline” border_color=”green”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]The day we decided to try the Terrawash was a horse manure day. Ciarán’s clothes absolutely stank of manure and were filthy from the days work. We put the clothes on a 40’C wash with no detergent – just the Terrawash. The results had us utterly flabbergasted!!![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Totally clean and smelling like new. And I mean that. They didn’t smell of washing detergent or softener. They just smelled like new clothes – like fabric!!! To say we were impressed would be a huge understatement and we will definitely be investing in our own one![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”10686″ img_size=”medium” style=”vc_box_outline” border_color=”green”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

We have decided to give away a free Terrawash worth €44 to one lucky customer.
